Coronavirus Latest, Sen. James Seward, Cairo Contamination

On this week's edition of New York NOW, COVID-19, or the novel coronavirus, has exploded in New York state, with more than 300 cases by the end of the day Thursday. Jon Campbell from the USA Today Network and Karen DeWitt from New York State Public Radio have been covering the outbreak and join us in studio.

In the backdrop of all this is the state budget, which is due by the end of March. We'll speak with State Sen. James Seward, the top Republican on the Finance Committee, about where things stand.

The residents of Cairo, NY recently discovered that traces of toxic chemicals have been found in their drinking water, and now they're trying to figure out what to do next. Ryan Jones has the story.
